"John Warder's" career got launched when he pioneered and developed a Speakers Bureau and Chaplaincy Program for Professional Athletic Teams, including the LA Rams, Dodgers, and Angels and also the MN Vikings and Twins. Because of this unique work, John was selected as One of the Outstanding Young Men of America by the Jaycees.
John is a graduate of Iowa State University where he was the Quarterback, Captain and Most Valuable Player of the Cyclones football team. John continues to challenge himself physically, most recently by competing in triathlons.
John has had a unique and fascinating life and career. John has worked as a personnel recruiter and Human Resource trainer for one of the largest computer companies in the U.S., been a partner in a cell phone company and worked for four different non-profit organizations, raising over $11 million dollars for the fight against poverty.
John has taken those same leadership talents and developed into one of the most enthusiastic and gifted speakers and trainers on the subject of Managing Performance by Motivated Talents.
John Warder has personally counseled and coached over 2,000 people including CEO’s, doctors, lawyers, professional athletes, teachers, engineers, computer programmers, mid-level managers, consultants, and students regarding career strategies and work/life issues. He has spoken to more than 500 groups regarding Personal and Corporate Performance. He has also spoken to every Major League Baseball team, both American and National League Teams, as well as over a dozen NFL and NHL teams.
John and his wife Sharri have been married for 40+ years. They have completed 20+ Triathlons. They have 3 grown children and 7 grandchildren. They have lived in the Minneapolis area for 30+ years.
